Who we are

Stable Futures CA is a California- based nonprofit dedicated to providing safe, stable housing, and comprehensive life skills support to transition, H youth and young adult adults impacted by foster care, housing instability, and systemic inequities.

We believe stability is the foundation for healing, growth, and long-term independence. When young people are supported with housing, guidance, and practical tools, they are better position to build the future they deserve.

Why we Exist

Each year, thousands of young people exit foster care without a safe place to live or consistent adult support. Many are expected to navigate adulthood alone without housing, financial knowledge or the life skills necessary to thrive.

Without intervention, these young adults face increased risk of homelessness, unemployment, mental health challenges, and continued system involvement.

Stable Futures CA was created to bridge this gap.

Leadership and Accountability

Stable Futures CA is lead by professionals with social work training, lived experience, and strong community partnerships. Oversight is provided by a board of directors committed to ethical governance and fiscal responsibility.
